My experience in New Zealand

I was lucky enough to call New Zealand my home for the best part of two years and I loved spending as much time as possible exploring this beautiful country.

It’s a place that suits all types of travellers on different budgets, including those who are travelling solo.

Whether you’re looking for adventure sports, stunning landscapes or cultural experiences there is no shortage of things for you to see and do.

Both islands hold their own unique charm and are very different from each other.

The North Island is home to geothermal wonders, famous surf beaches and where you can immerse yourself in Māori culture.

On the South Island, the landscape changes dramatically to rugged mountains and deep fjords, making it a dream for outdoor adventurers and nature lovers.

I loved my time in New Zealand and I’m sure you will too, check out these guides to help you plan your adventure!

  • Transportation Tip – one of the best ways to explore New Zealand is by camper van.
