My experience in Indonesia

Indonesia, with its whopping 17,000 islands, has been my go-to escape over the years, and I’ve spent more than 3 months soaking up this awesome country.

Bali stole my heart from the get-go with its mix of chill beaches, wild jungles, hidden waterfalls, towering mountains and volcanoes.

Day trips to the laid-back vibes of the Nusa Islands are a highlight, where you can spend hours snorkelling among colourful coral reefs and lazing on secluded beaches.

Neighboring Lombok offers a more laid-back vibe, with pristine beaches and epic surf breaks that feel untouched compared to Bali.

  • Transportation Tip – there is no Uber in Indonesia, download the ride-sharing apps Grab and GoJek to travel around.
