My experience in Hungary

I’ve been to Hungary, specifically Budapest, a couple of times over the last few years. Both times I really enjoyed my trip and there’s no doubt in my mind that I would come here again.

The first time I visited, I came with a group of friends where we explored the city, sipped on mimosas, soaked in the thermal baths and partied at a few of the ruin bars.

My most recent trip was with my partner, James, and we spent our time finding some amazing vegan restaurants, visiting some more thermal baths and finding some of the best cocktail bars.

Budapest is a great city to explore, whether you’re into history and architecture, having a pamper at one of the city’s many thermal baths or partying at one of the quirky ruin bars.

  • Transportation Tip – We found that Budapest is a very walkable city and actually enjoyed walking to most places. Uber and Bolt are the main ride sharing apps in the city and are very reasonable. There are also plenty of buses, trams and the metro that you can use to get from A to B.
